 On March 20, 2008, with the initiative of Abkhazia Institute for Social and Economic Research and the “Georgia News” newspaper, President of Georgia, Mr. Mikhael Saakashvili, met with representatives of the Georgian Diaspora from all over the United States. The meeting was attended by a writer and a public activist, Dr. Ushangi Rizhinashvili; a university professor of Slavonic languages and literature from Indiana, Dodona Kiziria; an artist, Eteri Chkadua; an actor of a Washington theater, Irakli Kavsadze; a music conductor from Los Angeles, Marina Lomtatidze, and others. | |
