The Czech Republic is negotiating a possible deal with Georgia to sell at least ten L-159 advanced light combat aircrafts, the Czech news agency CTK reported on May 13.

Report of handgun in Glendale Middle School at 1:50 pm on May 11, 2007 triggered a lockdown at three schools (Eleanor J. Toll Middle, Hoover High, and Mark Keppel Elementary). Totally more than 4,000 students were affected. After room-by-room search by SWAT team and police air-soft pistol was recovered in a 7th grade boy’s backpack. Officials began releasing students after 3:15PM.

the representative of Abkhazian refugees Mr. Irakli Gagua  made a weeklong trip to New York beginning on Sunday to attend the U.S. General Assembly session, a meeting of the Group of Eight countries and other diplomatic engagements.
His trip coincides with Prime Minister Mr. Nogadieli visit to New York starting Monday to attend the General Assembly session, where he plans to criticize Russian role in Abkhazian conflict. On the sidelines of the meeting, Mr. Irakli Gagua will hold separate talks with Georgian Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister Nogadieli,  and other Georgian officials.
On Monday evening, April 09, 2007 Irakli Gagua visits An Orthodox church in New York. The visit was an opportunity to pray for all the victims of ethnic cleansing committed by separatist regime, for families and friends as well as the thousand of people who had to go through this horrible experience and for the wellbeing of the Georgia
