Two locals have been kidnapped from the village Pirveli Gali, in Abkhazian conflict zone, last night.

Two locals have been kidnapped from the village Pirveli Gali, in Abkhazian conflict zone, last night. The family of Arkania says seven masked and armed men attacked them and demanded $20,000. The kidnappers took away the head of the family Nugzar Akania and a 9 year-old child, who was released only after the family transferred 8,000 dollars to one of the Russian banks.

Nugzar Arkania remains in captivity. The member of the family say they identified one of the kidnappers - it's an Abkhazian militiamen.
