No drivers license will be issued in Abkhazia without Russian passport |

No drivers license, car registration, or other documents will be issued in Abkhazia (breakaway province of Georgia) without Russian passport. Sergey Bagapsh, self-proclaimed president of the Abkhazia, stated about that at an emergency meeting with representatives of the law enforcement agencies to charge with new instructions to force people get Russian passport.
According to him, no one would be able to pass exams in high educational institution without presenting the Russian passports and those who would reject to accept the Russian passports would be forced to leave the territory of Abkhazia.
In the passports it is stressed citizenship of the Russian Federation and the nationality - Abkhazian. |
