Intercontinental WashingtonToday, on March 20, 2008, 4:00pm a meeting being run by Abkhazia Institute for Social and Economic Research and Georgian Daily News is currently taking place in the conference room of Intercontinental Hotel in Washington, DC.

 

The meeting hosted by Ushangi Rizhinashvili has been attended by many Georgia-interested guests, as well as numerous representatives of the Georgian Diaspora who are making efforts to peacefully resolve conflicts in Georgia. 

Abkhazia Institute Director of Department for Public Relations and President of Georgia, Mr. Mikhael SaakashviliPresident of Georgia, Mr. Mikhael Saakashvili, will present his speech at the meeting emphasizing the role of the Georgian Diaspora worldwide. He will also mention how important it would be for Georgia to join NATO. Mr. President will pay a special attention to the conflict resolution in Abkhazia and South Ossetia. 

Well-known American and Georgian businessmen will also be giving speeches at the meeting. They will discuss various business projects which will work in favor of fast conflict resolution.

The results of the meeting will be published later by a special reporter of the independent information agency Stream-Press.
