Shota ArveladzeThe former Georgian internationalarrived at the Ciutat de Valencia last summer, but failed to make a single first team appearance for the granota before Sunday due to lengthy injury problems. Although he played just five minutes of the 2-1 defeat to Villarreal, he was clearly relieved to be back in action, claiming that he "felt like a player" once again.

"It's been ten months without my playing an official match," he said.

"Now I want to play in all the games and score goals, but I know that it's a coaching decision. I can play for an hour no problem, but it depends on the match."

Coaching Future?

Arveladze, whose former employers include AZ Alkmaar, Rangers and Trabzonspor, denied that he was set for a return to the Netherlands to take on a coaching role at AZ.

"I've not signed anything, so such rumours are lies," he said.

However, he wouldn't rule out a return to Holland, saying, "These two months are very important as to my decision whether or not I keep playing.

"My head says that I want to go on, but I've yet to decide."
