Georgian leader tells Putin to halt "aggression"

TBILISI (Reuters) - Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili accused Russia on Monday of committing an act of aggression against his country and telephoned President Vladimir Putin to demand Moscow stop "aggressive attacks." "Today I spoke to the Russian Federation's President Vladimir Putin. This was an uneasy talk," Saakashvili said in a televised address. "I categorically demanded from the Russian head of state ... that these aggressive attacks on Georgia be stopped immediately," he added. He was referring to Sunday's incident when, according to Tbilisi, a Russian fighter plane shot down a Georgian drone over Georgian territory. !
