According to the Russian Agency ITAR-TASS, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Valery Keniyakin announced today that if there will be any military intervention in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Russia will use the military method. “Russia is doing everything possible to avert the military confrontation in the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict-he added.—However, if such scenarios is used, than we will be obliged to use the military force.”

“The Georgian side claims that those territories are theirs, but did Russia in any way oppose the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia?” –added the diplomat.

“Russia supports that the territorial integrity of Georgia progresses from the theoretical possibilities into practical reality, and for that they need negotiations-believes the special representative of Russian Foreign Ministry. –As for now, the territorial integrity of Georgia is a theoretical hypothesis.”

“We want this to became a reality, we push the sides into negotiation process in the existing format-Keniyakin said, - If someone wants to rely on NATO, than we are fully capable of countering that".
