De facto authorities in Abkhazia say the prime minister of the breakaway rerion region was 'slightly wounded' today by a grenade attack on his car.

Aleksandr Ankvab said the grenade hit the rear end of his car while he was traveling to Sukhumi.

De facto 'PM' had contusion and several fragment wounds in his back, but he is expected to be back to work soon.

It was the fourth attack on Ankvab since he was appointed to the possition two years ago.

Georgian experts say the terrorist act was tied with the internal disputes between the clans leading the breakaway region at present.

MP Davit Bakradze told Rustavi2 that Abkhazia is not a state and it can never be one and such terrorist acts and disputed between clans proves this every time.

'Abkhazia will never be a state unless it returns to the jurisdiction of Georgia,' Bakradze said.

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili has also commented on the incident, saying the only way to finish all these illegal activities in the breakaway region was the peace plan proposed by Georgia, which was accepted by international society. Gela Bezhuashvili said Georgia's position and plans were very clear.
