Men, women and children were executed in the streets...It is my sincerest hope that the Photo Exhibition “We Remember” will serve as a reminder of the evil that fear and prejudice can generate.
Maybe then that evil can be recognized before anything like the “Georgian Massacre” ever happens again.

The next update is threading on thin ice since it touches on some political and historical topics. I do not attempt to give an objective view, and I want to make it very clear that the following describes how I feel towards the Georgian-Russian relationship and is not supposed to be representative of anyone but myself.

If you think about history, it doesn't surprise that the relationship between Georgia and Russia hasn't quite been the best in the past, and worsens every day.

Nobody asks Russian government to admit guilty, but them at least should fill sorry. It’s amazing, that after invasion in Georgia, and humiliation of thousands of Georgians, not we, but Russians wish for retribution. The sacred memory of the victims of the “Georgian massacre” must not be victimized by political correctness.

Democratic politics, with their messy compromises, are not satisfying to those searching for all embracing simple formulas. Yet Russia is doing business with Hamas, and Iran, and Europe seems ready to stand in line. Abkhazian war criminals found employment in Russia. Russian generals capital as advisers in murder. The notorious international terrorists have close relationship with Russian officials. Actually former KGB mentors teach them and others how to become terrorists.

And now, Abkhazia Institute for Social and Economic Research organizing a photo exhibition “We Remember” in Washington DC on September 27, 2007 which will built to honor the memory of those who died as a victims of Russian invasion and to spread awareness of the tragedy caused by the political use of this hatred needs to take a leadership role in exposing Russian racism.

Actually is considered as a heroic attempt to show people hundreds of pictures which are representing undeniable historical links in capital of United States, center of World Democracy – Washington DC.

Mankind needs only Education and Respect. It's the only way to sweep out definitely this terror, avoiding the experience again our very recent past. On behalf of those who did not have right to live a humble human life

I hope that everyone who is in denial of this horror, one day will see the pain this has brought our world. WHY! One day we will know.
Recently, just a two month ago AISER published booklet about ethnic cleansing and genocide of Georgians in Abkhazia. We received hundreds of letters from people with different professions and ethnic backgrounds.

"I have been a student and collector of Holocaust materials for over 20 years, and using them for psychological research. No matter how much I read I cannot understand...and as the years go by I think of what the world would be like if there were the millions here and their millions to help us with the problems we are now facing globally. It is too hard to bear, how it possible commit egregious war crime in which thousands of innocent citizens were tortured and murdered because of their heritage, their religion, their ethnic identity in 20th century. If people perish when the leadership has no vision, they also perish when the leadership has the wrong vision…” Dr. Robert Richardson

“People behave as if they are
sentenced...It is as if somebody made a small
group...sit down in a cart and pushed the cart toward a
cliff. The cart continues moving toward the cliff and the
people inside — some are weeping, some are smoking,
some are reading newspapers, some are praying
— and it does not occur to anyone to take the reins
and turn the cart. It is as if the people are under narcosis.
I come to you with a last attempt. I am calling to
you. Wake up!”
Jabotinsky’s famous words from his 1939
speech in Warsaw
