Portsmouth signed Glen Johnson from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee on Friday after allowing Dejan Stefanovic to join Fulham.
England right-back Johnson, who spent last season on loan at Fratton Park, agreed a four-year contract with Harry Redknapp's side.

The 23-year-old is believed to have cost Portsmouth around £4 million, but they have recouped £1 million of that by selling Stefanovic.

The Serbian defender has signed a two-year contract with Fulham and will complete his move subject to being granted a work permit.
