Mexico defender Carlos Salcido, who pulled out of the Copa America due to tiredness, was recalled by coach Hugo Sanchez on Friday.
The PSV Eindhoven player was included in a largely experimental squad for the friendlies at home to Panama on 9 September and against Brazil in United States three days later.
Defender Ricardo Osorio and midfielder Pavel Pardo, who also withdrew from the squad before the June-July tournament in Venezuela, were left out.
"There's no type of friction, this word has never existed in the national team," said Sanchez. "He (Salcido) is aware the players who are picked are not in future going to dare say that they need holidays or are tired or are not feeling good emotionally. This is not going to happen from now on and everyone is aware of this."
Earlier this week, the Mexican federation announced players would be subject to a code of conduct aimed at tightening discipline.
"Nobody here is on a blacklist, nobody is being punished, we are simply holding the players responsible for their actions," said Sanchez.
