Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili will present his annual report in the Georgian Parliament today. His speech is scheduled for the second half of the day. According to preliminary information, the speech will last for an hour and a half, and will address various accomplishments and reforms undertaken in 2006, as well as country's future development strategies and directions.
The session's format does not envisage either holding debates after the President's speech or asking questions to Saakashvili. Due to this circumstance, some members of the Parliamentary opposition are not intendiing to attend today's speech.
