Abkhazia War Disability Accommodation Policy and Procedures

It is the policy of the AISER Programs to provide reasonable accommodations for qualified disabled individuals from war veterans. We will adhere to state and federal regulations and guidelines.
An individual with a disability who meets the skill, experience, education and other admission requirements will be admitted into the any Program without discrimination.

Definition:
Reasonable accommodation is any modification or adjustment that makes it possible for an individual with a disability to successfully perform the tasks required of a Some Specialties.

 It is the obligation of the individual to request reasonable accommodations. All requests should be addressed to the Program Coordinator in writing. All efforts will be made to maintain confidentiality.

A qualified individual with a disability has the right to refuse an accommodation. However, if the individual cannot perform the essential task responsibilities without the accommodation, admission to the program may be denied.

If the cost of an accommodation would impose an undue hardship on the AISER Programs, the accommodation may be denied. These circumstances will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
